Halo Legends Best Buy Exclusive SteelBook™ - Blu-ray Forum

My Best Buy contact found a SteelBook™ in their system and it is Halo Legends SteelBook™. The retail price is $29.99 and has a release date of 2/16/10. The SKU# for the product is 9741277. Looks like I won't be importing this title for sure now, and I am still thinking about getting one from Best Buy, but probably will. Especially, if it will be a true Blu-Ray (G2) SteelBook™. It is from Warner Brothers and I hope it won't be an Iron Pack, but it is labeled in Best Buy's system as a "SteelBook™".

Didn't Warner recently switch to Iron Packs?

Just curious if this will be a Best Buy USA exclusive like "Hurt Locker" was recently or something widely available in other countries?

This is coming out in different Countries, but it will be "exclusive" in the US to Best Buy.

Does the BB cover look the same as the German release? If it is I'll cancel my German order.

Basically both are almost the same expect ironpack's spine are different and is a bit heavier than steelbooks.

People hate the ironpacks here because they hate change and if it's not a steelbook (TM) it's worthless and crap.

I got the Terminator Salvation Iron pack and it looks pretty cool, but i'm not the one to care for how the packaging looks. If i can get different packaging of the movie for the same price as the regular version i would get the different package one.

Ironpacks are poorly made compared to SteelBooks, from what I've seen.

I have no interest in Halo Legends, but I will buy it to support Best Buy and all SteelBook's they release... If we keep buying them, they'll keep making them...

We're getting it in the UK, and I've seen it in two places (HMV and Play) so it isn't very exclusive.

So I'm confused. I live in the us. I'm guessing the bestbuy version is the way to go for me, but there's no link up yet. Does anyone have a link for the other "exclusive" versions?
