Wow, never expected this to come to Blu-ray. I even thought about buying it on DVD a few times, but never got round to it and now I'm glad I didn't! Thanks for the post!

Interesting. Especially as it will be released in Germany by Studio Canal. There is also a Dutch BD which is 1080/i if I'm not mistaken.

Back to a Time when Britain was Britain,Its in an unrecognisable state now.

a positive nostalgia flash back, that can not be dictated to by PC bs.

My dear Brits colleagues, i am not Brit myself, but using RIP Leslie Nielsen US citizen words "this shit is banging". Myself beeing EU citizen iam consider this one as one of the greatest GB movies of latest years, despite beeing true tribute to your own AMAZING RIP Pete Postlethwaite aswell, so pls Brits consider do so aswell. Its a shame its only 6 posts in this one. BRITS GO FOR IT, if I may say so.

Can someone who owns this comment on the picture quality? I'm tempted to jump on this but I don't want to buy something that's not much of an improvement on the DVD

I just imported this to the US via eBay. At least comparing it to my old Miramax full screen letterboxed DVD, it is a huge improvement. Only watched a little of it so far but it is a substantial difference. One of my favorite old 90's Miramax titles and so glad I found it. The audio is still Dolby Digital 2.0 but it still sounds great.

Was gonna get this but turns out the extras are just brief EPK interviews and clips from the film! So I'll just go to the ODEON screening next month
