Default BDs only available in Europe

Hey everyone. I'm currently in Switzerland and was curious if there are any BD's I should be looking for that might not be available in the States. Do I need to worry about any region encoding? Thanks!

By the way, the big supermarket here in Geneva has a nice wall display for BluRay with a logo sign above it. HDDVD has a small little shelf that I had to search for.

Or look on the back of the package. ABC indicates its all-region. Some times its not easy to spot - they also simply leave off the region is its all-region, so check carefully.

The only thing I've found here that isn't available at home is The Rock. It says region B and its about $45 USD. I'm going to pass.

Hi, there are some titles like 12 Monkeys or The Jackal (Bruce Willis). I've heard that they are region free so you might want to check them out.

But in fact that the US Dollar is very low valued against european currencies I think you gonna have to pay a lot of greens for them...

Regards

Daniel

The website does show 12 Monkeys and Jackal to be region free.

Awesome! I'm going to go look for 12 Monkeys today. That is a movie I would be willing to spend a little more for. Thanks for the info!
