A longtime high school football coach in Maine has resigned after one of the more embarrassing and bizarre social media snafus in recent memory (if not of all time) when he accidentally posted a nude photo of himself on Facebook. The lewd photo was viewable by the general public and was recognized by a parent of a player on his football team...

Withee (the coach) allegedly claims the racy photos were only intended for his girlfriend, but the coach -- who has led Oxford Hills' program since the 2009-10 school year -- posted them to his general Facebook profile instead...

I often wonder how many jobs are lost each year to people posting stupid stuff on their Facebook. I'm glad I deleted my facebook account.

When are people going to learn that crappy cell phone pics do not make their naked bodies look good, and no one wants to see them. Don't e-mail them, don't text them, don't post them on Facebook.

I can see it now. An archaelogogist from a future civilization is going to look back on our current time period and the only thing they'll find is Facebook postings and Youtube. That future civilization is going to think we were all a bunch of idiots and wonder how we were able to survive as a species.
