USA Siegfried and Roy: The Magic Box (1999) No 3D Blu-ray [IMAX]

For those of you who keep saying you want to see a movie where entire people are in front of the stereo window but have never seen one yet because it is impossible to do,

I have just seen such a movie. It is not impossible to do because it has been done before.

I don't know if it's the only one or not, but

it's the 1999 Imax movie "Sigfreid &Roy: The Magic Box".

There are several scenes with entire humans (their entire bodies) in front of the stereo window.

completely outside of the tv screen.

Well, thanks for the heads up. I'd like to check it out. Hopefully, it becomes more widely available soon.

Oh, whew, thought it'd dropped off the face of the earth, after the accident.
I've only seen the anaglyph version, on the DVD, and used to have the View-Master disk, but never saw it on the bigscreen.

In Monsters vs Aliens The general comes completely out of the screen when he is flying around with his jet pack. Maybe that's different.

I'd like to see this Magic Box.

Edit: Just thought of one I saw in the theater when I was a kid. A 3D moment that's stuck with me. I have no idea what the name of the movie was. But there was this cat burglar type guy breaking into this high security place. Kind of mission impossible style. The guy throws a rope down from a high place. The view is from below looking up as the rope is thrown down. I was sitting in a seat right next to the isle. The rope came down right beside me, down the isle to my left. Then the guy starts shimmying down the rope. I swear the guy came right down the theater isle, along side the seats. It freaked me out, lol.

I dont know if it counts but Im sure there were many times in Avengers when Iron Man was flying way out front of the "window" per se.

Also I noticed in Titanic, there were many times they really exaggerated the 3D in dialouge scenes. I remember one bit on a Over the Shoulder shot, young Rose (well her head) was at least 40 - 50 % out.

I think its actually funny, that when movies dont draw attention to these, by not "throwing" something at you, most of the audience it seems doesn't even notice! You will even hear people say...there was hardly ANY 3D!
