Default Summerland Tour w/ Everclear, Sugar Ray, Gin Blossoms

Did you hear about this? Some of the biggest bands of the 90s are teaming up for a summer tour. There are quite a few big hit singles between Everclear, Sugar Ray, Gin Blossoms, Lit and Marcy Playground! What's your favorite song from these bands? My favorite would be Everclear's "I Will Buy You a New Life." I also think The Gin Blossom's "Till I Hear it From You" is pretty much the best pop song of the 90s.

Announcement from Everclear & Sugar Ray here:

So who's gonna check this out?

As long as Sugar Ray only did stuff from their first 2 albums, I wouldn't mind seeing them. They went downhill after Fly was such a hit and tried making only songs like that.

I forgot I had created this thread and just came back to check on it. Well, you knew that wasn't going to happen. They only played their biggest hit singles along with Mean Machine. It is a great concert from ALL 5 bands.

Marcy Playground - so many great songs, even if you don't know them.
Lit - Very energetic, the most "rock" band of the lineup. "My Own Worst Enemy" is an awesome sing along.
Gin Blossoms - great pop/rock songs. Robin still sounds great!
Sugar Ray - a lot of fun. Nothing too deep here, just fun!
Everclear - Art's voice is different now, but the songs still rock! They have the deepest catalog of any of the bands. The new album Invisible Stars is the best thing they've done since Sparkle and Fade, Afterglow and Learning How to Smile. If you like the classic Everclear stuff, you need to listen to Invisible Stars.

There's still a few dates left, so check it out if it's coming your way.

Alex
