Having trouble finding The Day After Tomorrow - Blu-ray Forum

So today (Oct 2) is release day for "The Day After Tomorrow" on Blu-ray... yes? I can't find it. I went to Best Buy today... they didn't have it... checked Best Buy dot com and they didn't show it. Checked Amazon and they say Availability: Usually ships within 6 to 12 days. Was there a delay or were they all sold out on pre-orders? What's happening?

DVDEmpire.com has it in stock and that's where I got mine from...

Pre orders put it out of stock, they ll probably get more tomorrow.

Thanks... just ordered it from DVDEmpire.com ... (never ordered from them before)... they are a few bucks higher than Amazon, but not bad.

Fox's Website says that it is currently available. However amazon says it releases on the 16th. So ya I'm confused too. I'm sure amazon is just mixed up. I'll order mine from Amazon, Best buy is not listing any incoming inventory at this moment. Even if they are coming directly from the vendor they would be listed in their system, and the employee says there is nothing coming.

I couldn't find it earlier today locally (Best Buy, Circuit City, Target and CompUSA) but I just got back from Suncoast (store at a local mall) and they had it. I bought it and unfortunately, when I got back my express order through Circuit City had gone through so I guess I'll have two copies. Anyway, if you're having trouble finding it in stock online or in your area, try Circuit City online.

So this was my make or break title from them... guess what? I can't even find it! Wow FOX you really ****ed up... Giving us shitty transfers then waiting six months to announce anything and then one of the two titles cant even be found anywhere! There have also been reports of the thing not even working! so you guys have fun with your POS FOX disks while I watch quality Blu's like Pirates.

And just becuase you cant find it only means that a lot of people are buying it....There are only a couple copies at frys on realease day normally, i wasnt terribly suprised it was out of stock already...I dont feel like paying out the ass at BB or CC but they might have it in stock.....

Either way this is not Fox's fault so what the hell is your problem again

Mine is shipping from Amazon. The only "problems" with playback I've seen are from the earlier Samsung players, which are waiting on a firmware update.

I saw a bunch of them (Day After Tomorrow - in BluRay) today at BJ's Warehouse (sort of like the COSTCO of the Northeast) - looks like they are stocking moreand more!!! They also have Fantastic 4 - Silver Surfer!

I believe they were 27.99

already looked at BB and CC and it will take another six months from amazon. no I did not even click on that link. My problem is that so far I have had my money wasted on shit transfers so I was hoping to pick this up and change it.

Seems like BB has their copies out the next day after release (blu's that is).
