India/Bollywood Vaishali - Telugu Bluray - Screenshots [Bhavani]

Here is another surprise Bluray from Bhavani - they seek our feedback!

I hadnt heard of this movie before but a friend of mine says its a "very nice flick" - will check it out

Here is some info/background on the flick:

Quote:
The narrative style, technical wizardry and the brilliant camera work give Vaishali, the real eerie experience.
"YMC" fame Manoj Paramahamsa's cinematography is top-notching with good tone and innovative camera angles.
Cinematography and director’s intelligence are par excellence. Music and re recording by Thaman are an additional asset to Vaishali.

Image quality looks damn good to me....Did that quote say "eerie experience"? Is this a ghost/horror movie? If so, yay!

Damn, I can't find this movie on IMDB. Someone please link me up to a synopsis/review.

Edit: Doesn't matter, I found out. Apparently a dub of a Tam movie called Eeram. I generally prefer to see films in the original language.

Thumbs up

wow ... good news.

I was under the impression that a Blu-ray release might not happen to this movie due to lack of popularity amongst the Telugu Audience.
Keep releasing the small movies too (good ones), on Blu-ray

I heard Vaishali is an excellent science fiction film.

I am so mad on bhavani now....how can a dubbing small movie like Vaishali, which I haven't even heard of before have a BD release, whereas Panjaa did not. Honestly, this is getting on my nerves

the movie is quite decent, its a thriller which is inspired by the movie dark water..seen it on gemini and in tamil as well.the dubbing is jus out of place and dialogues arent as effective as the tamil counterpart.

but yes quite a surprise, releasing a dubbed movie in blu ray which doesnt have a dvd in tamil. and neglecting panjaa is really sad.panjaa is not as bad a movie as ppl make out. its quite a decent flick.

Tollywood rules!

I dont believe there are any Blurays made of Telugu movies dubbed into Tamil - and this, I believe is the 3rd dubbed movie [after Robo and Rangam] in Telugu getting a bluray! Take that!

This is just crazy

Seems like people are sad/angry that a Blu-ray is releasing for this movie just because a Blu-ray didn't release for some other movie.

Bhavani and Volga have the rights for Panja, and they work together so they decide together whether to release the Blu-ray or not.

Robo, Rangam, now Vaishali
Gaganam and Eenadu also belong in this list in a way.

Telugu People watch Tamil dubbed movies, but I don't understand why Tamil people don't watch Telugu dubbed movies

Tell that to the critics on internet which clearly stated this movie in genres such as science fiction, mystery, and horror.

Anyway, I heard from a few Tamil friends that the movie is very interesting so it might be worth a watch.
Its a hit movie in Tamil, and it was also made on relatively low budget.

Not only telugu other lang too except Eng.
"Arundathi" was hit in tamil, so if the movie has good screenplay and storyboard it does work out. Unfortunately, we dont like dubbed movies, either we want remake or in orig lang.

"Renowned cinematographer P C Sriram`s frames, as usual, are excellent, bringing a touch of class to the movie. But his beautiful cinematography is spoiled by processing/grading at Gemini Labs in a more than couple of scenes"
Its quoted by sify for the movie Ishq.
