I'm guessing this may be related to my equipment more so than the Blu Ray(as I sat down and watched Fantastic Four on a 1080p TV today and it looked stunning). But..when I play it on my home screen, i get these never ending specs all over the place(they show up more in dark scenes, but can still be very apparent in light scenes). I have a ViewSonic n3252w. Here's the link to the specifications:
http://www.viewsonic.com/products/la.../N3252w/#specs Anyways, is this what seperates 1080i from 1080p? I'm noticing it on many movies, including Planet Earth, Fifth Element and a few others. I'm using a PS3 for the Blu Ray playback and am connected via HDMI to the display. And...it only seems to happen in live action films. It seems to carry well on animated, with zero of these specs. What can I do to improve quality? Should I force the PS3 to display in 720p? Should I change the finite settings more? Or am I in need of a much better display? ![]() |
