Default 120 Blu-rays to 65 HD DVDs by end of 2007

I counted the number of blu-rays scheduled to be released before the end of 2007 and it was 120. I also counted the number of hd-dvds due by years end and their total is 65. This stat comes from counting the scheduled releases on the website highdefdigest.com. This is where it stands now, of course more might be added between now and 2008.

Don't tell Highdefdigest. They will change the stats just to make HD DVD look better.

I thought they seemed biased in favor of hd-dvd too, but then I checked out the reviews on movies for both formats and can't find any evidence that they are.
I thought that the numbers were the interesting part. Oh well.

Hopefully, the joke is about how you can buy props from Evan Almighty while you watch the film. So when somebody is pinching a loaf, you can go and buy the toilet paper.

Bingo... you can even buy the rain barrel in which to deposit your brown kids... which you can turn into compost

Blu-ray.com is my favorite hi-def site, but it wasn't possible to get the hd-dvd stats here.

They are a bit biased towards HD DVD; however, at least one of their reviewers gives an honest opinion.

Read my post here to understand what I mean...https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=19222

Universal is notorious for announcing titles at the last moment...so, don't get your hopes completely up.

The Universal listings through the holiday season are surprisingly sparse.

That's what I'm talking about...they wind up announcing them at the last moment and they might have some more coming out before December 31.

Evan Almighty. Great, another $1.99 rental-quality movie not on BLU. Boy, I don't know how we can go on from here.

well dont forget hd-dvd is sometimes like almost 20% more expensive then Blu-Ray movies because of that stupid combo disc crap like i was at Sears and i saw The Departed Hd-Dvd for like $40 and the Blu-Ray version was like $30 same for 300 and I am like the hell? Why would a Hd-Dvd supporter spend $40 for a movie when they can only spend $30 for the same movie on Blu-Ray?
