really enjoyed this. Some great sequences and a nice likable cast.

saw it the same day as Planet of the Apes and had a great double bill at the flicks.

Don't see a release date on HMVs website but if 26 Dec is right then it's the same date as Rise of the Planet of the Apes blu ray. Oh well, at least we'll have some nu blus to watch post Christmas/pre New Year.

I hope the art work hmv have put up for it is final.

It's much better than the universal canadian version.

just checked it out - the last time I looked - it was a blank space

and YES!! I do quite like it very muchly

EDIT - I also checked out the CAN edition - and see its an Extended Version. will we get that as well do you know?!

Super 8 and Rise/Apes are both the 12th. Captain America is the week earlier!

pity we won't see Cows&Aliens till after Christmas though

But it will be dispatched before its release date - and you never know - Christmas is a time of Miracles

Looks like I better tell the family to get me HMV vouchers for Christmas

EDIT: just seen its out on the Dec 6th in the States, might well be able to get it before Christmas

According to the press release the UK is also getting the extended version, so the steelbook should have it.
