Default Sony S-300 and Day After Tomorrow

I just downloaded the 2.60 (via Sony's free disc) into my Sony BDP-S300.
Decided to give my BD copy of "The Day After Tomorrow" it's first spin. It seems to take a long time for this BD to load. First, it has this "Loading" bar going over and over and over. Then it has these "dots" that form a circle and takes almost a minute to get it's act done.
Then the set-up screen comes on (audio set up, special features, etc.). The movie only takes a few moments to come on afterward.
Any of you S-300 owners (esp. those with 2.60 upgrade) having this issue?
I haven't been able to watch this BD yet, but looked at the opening credits and scenes and WOW!!!!!! The picture is AWESOME!!!! The DTS was also starting to sound awesome, too, though I had the volume down a bit low (at -35). My usual DTS listening level is -18 to -20.
Thanks,

Jodi
