I'm very curious to see how this turns out. It's a modern Full Moon film so I'm expecting it to be one step above a dog turd, but the trailer has given me hope that perhaps this will be entertaining/enjoyable and I have no doubt I'll be picking it up come release.

Unlike the first three, it was edited on videotape. So a Blu Ray would require a full Star Trek TNG style reconstruction. Plus I think Full Moon has also said they have misplaced the negative.

That’s it in a nutshell. Something to do with the Romanian film lab. Hopefully the negative is just misplaced and not destroyed. Part of why the films of the Kushner-Locke era look so cruddy compared to the Paramount era is because most of them were edited on tape.

Gave this a watch and, surprisingly, it was pretty good. Haven't seen the other ones in a while but definitely made want to revisit them. Solid prequel. Fans of the series should find this enjoyable.
