Default House M.D.

Does anybody know if the three seasons of House will be out on Blu-Ray?

Unfortunately no buddy.

I love House but damn Universal distributes it so we don't get it.

One day, one day...

House is on Fox but is actually made by Universal so it won't be on blu-ray unless Universal switches sides.

God knows, But it does bug me...I love House and it would be one show that I would pay any money for on Blu...but of course as we all know the WAR sucks.

Hopefully it wont last too much longer....

They should have let them distribute Prison Break and kept House to themselves. I think House would make more money on BLU.

Universal is the production company of House, Fox is the production company of PB

House is not an HD showcase title, PB is.

i dont think house is fox. it might play on fox but i know here in quebec it also plays on global (some tv channel). either way i think house is stupid and the show is even worse lol. my girlfriend would love if it came to blu ray tho.... so i'd most likely have to end up buying it

HOUSE is da shit. PB can go suck my nuts lol.

Anyway.....

I have the 3 previous seasons on DVD cuz I just HAD to have them and knew they would not be coming to Blu any time soon thanks to Universal

I can only hope that they are not released on HD-DVD, but rather after Uni decides to turn Blu.

even though the seasons are on dvd, i have to admit, that the picture quality from up-conversion is incredibly good for a dvd.

i was impressed. not much grain or blur.

i can only imagine how sharp it would appear on blu.

Even the non-anamorphic first season?

yeah...even then, but then again, i've only watched a couple BD, and mostly and watching movies from my dvd library.

however, there are certain movies (older) that look like utter garbage, and then some other movies that are pretty good (like they look like they did on a tube tele) so as far as i'm concerned, if for now I can get away with getting a tube picture without mega-pixelation (large same color blotchy patches) or otherwise noisy artifacts due to stretching the information onto a HD display, then i'm reasonably happy and can't complain too much.

"House" is a Universal production... Fox has NOTHING to do with the show.

The FOX Network broadcasts it. Just a few examples below (off the top of my head) of other series that are not associated with the studio that owns the network.

"Chuck" on NBC (Universal) is Warner Bros.
"Stargate: Atlantis" on Sci-Fi (Universal) is MGM.
"My Name Is Earl" on NBC (Universal) is FOX.

House is an egotistical, son-of-a-*****, megalomaniac.

I love that show!
