movie help

hiya

basically trying to find two films possibly both from the 80's. Any help would be appreciated

first up is a rutguer Hauer film, my old man only remembers there is a scene towards the end of the movie where he shoves a grenade in someones mouth says some kind of one liner and im guessing blows the villan up. (im sure he is confusing this with something else)


secondly is a film i see a few times on vhs when i wa younger could be late 80's possibly early 90's. all I can remeber is its set in desert (in america) and the main characters GF is kidnapped by a nut job, who rapes her, i believe they were in a camping van and the main character is either chasing the pair or has also been kidnapped....im sure the the title had the word 'Violet' in it ultra violet or something like that.its a chase/suspense film, i think it kina reminds me slightly of the hitcher.
