7.1? - Blu-ray Forum

When I was playing NBA 2k8 on the ps I didnt think it was 7.1 because I didnt hear anything from the SB speakers (hooked up though hdmi for uncompressed sound). When I listened closely I heard some small sound coming from my SB speakers but they were like grunts from the players and the sound when the players hit the floor when they came down from jumping. I thought 7.1 has the crowd noise and the music in the arena on it like the Side speakers do. Is that all the sound that comes from the SB speakers?

It seems like that's all you reciever is matrixing to those channels. I don't have the game but I could download the demo again and tell you how it matrixes to my receiver.
