I recently just replaced the rear pads and rotors on my 99 Blazer. On one side the caliper piston was very hard to push back and I barely got enough clearance for the caliper to go back on. The pads before were wore down to almost nothing. Now the caliper is not retracting off of the brake pad even when the pedal is not being pressed. I'm wondering what steps to take to diagnose my problem. Could the caliper guide pin bolts be too tight? Could the brake lines need bleeding? Is my caliper piston just shot? Any help would be appreciated. I am very amateur to working on cars but I can follow directions so things need to be step by step. Thanks!!!
