A Twitter conversation I've had with someone tonight made me consider...
What do you prefer: A ridiculously-prolific filmmaker who cranks out a movie every two years or less on average (even if it means the occasional mediocre movie or outright stinker slips through), or the Kubrickian "perfectionists" who always knock it out of the park, but leave their fanbase frustrated that they only deign to release a new movie every seven or eight years? |
