people looking for hacks are trying to play (for example) region b movies on a region a player. the hack will make the player region free, not the blu ray. your first post was about playing a region free movie. dont get them mixed up.

This is correct, one could rip it and burn it without a region code, however that wasn't his question. His question was if you can strip a BD of a region code, which you cannot.
