The terminator, the scene when arnold shoots the first sarh connor. The gunshots sound like damn laser guns. Scarface: the blu ray audio mix has good sound but most scenes when the characters scream in pain sound completely different. In Jaws during the final showdown, the rifle shots sound too heavy as opposed to the original audio where the sound felt more natural.

So you think it's the fault of the compression codec and not the audio engineer (and/or the director) who mastered it for blu-ray? Also what source are you referencing the blu-ray against? Are you sure it's just not how you have your system set up?
