I was hoping and expecting a UK Steel for this, seeing as it is a Paramount release! I would also expect it to be a great looking Steel, back and interior artwork, with removable rating logos and embossing!

Who cares? More steelbooks = more chance of a film you like getting a steelbook, so it's good in my opinion.

I know what you mean, the exclusivity has gone and they are more commercial/mainstream now than ever before. Hope that makes sense

The studio's are putting less thought into the artwork and design of them too, not great from a collector's point of view IMO

This. Sure, my CC is crying but I like that it's easier to get them now. They do need to pay more attention to the design and quality of the paint though. Some steelbooks get nicked/dented so easily.

rent it first before you buy the steelbook. the film is not that good and even the title Cowboy & Alien is too realistic
