Quick question regarding 7.1 on the SC-05. When I'm playing a blu ray the receiver is set to direct and no additional processing is applied. in this scenario the back rear speakers are active even when I play a 5.1 source. This goes for both True HD and DTSHDMA (haven't tried PCM yet). Now when I watch TV I need to apply PLII to activate the rears. For blu rays am I utilizing the best possible options for 7.1? Should I apply any processing? is PLII or Neo 6 applied automatically?
