Are the uv codes that come with 3d movies also in 3d ?

I haven't loaded any up, but nearly 100% sure they're 2D only, geared mostly for handheld electronics. None ever said "3D version".

To my knowledge, The Amazing Spider-Man is the only one where some people have been able to redeem the 3D version.

My Resident Evil Retribution code gave me both 2d and 3d.

Hotel Transylvania gives the 3D and the 2D version.

Which is very nice. If I visit people with a 3D flat screen who have never bothered to actually see what 3D looks like,... I can show them using vudu.

I know people got the 3D version of Spiderman but ... I didn't try... maybe I should have because I would like to have it.

If you don't want UV codes,... I will take them. Or I'm sure you will find others who like them.

There is the handheld aspect but if you have a vudu enabled device hooked up to an HDTV or Projector and have HDX,... that's very different and looks often significantly better than unconverted DVD.

There are a few but it seems Walmarts Instawatch is the best way of getting some 3d titles to view with Vudu.

Here are some 3D Blu-ray titles that seem to redeem in 4K/UHD in Vudu.

List so far:

Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them 3D
Mad Max Road Fury 3D
Pan 3D
Tomb Raider (2017) 3D
San Andreas 3D

It looks like both Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald 3D and Aquaman 3D digital copy only redeem in HDX for now. I guess those days are gone where the 3D version would redeem in UHD. It was a nice free perk.

Just letting anyone who else cares about this stuff. Now to debate if I should get the 4K blu-ray version of Aquaman as well.
