21 Jump Street - June 2012

I have just read an article that tells of the possibility that Sony Pictures is going to release 21 Jump Street on Blu-Ray this june. Although no details have been said, It is said that it will be one of the first Sony Blu-Rays in the UK to have a (Ultraviolet) Digital Copy. The other two that will get UV Digital Copies are Jack & Jill and The Vow. I personally can't wait for this as it is probably one of the funniest films I've seen in a while. The link is below.

Wow... Though, I shouldn't complain -I usually moan it takes too long for movies to go from Cinema -> My Collection! haha

Absolutely hilarious film, kind of like Superbad meets Hot Fuzz - loved every minute.

My source says it will be a July release, though...

Amazon, with Prime. They must have accidentally shipped it out early, thats all I can think of.

Watched the film tonight (saw it theatrically too). Wasn't inspecting the transfer as such, but it looked good to my eyes. Gonna check out the extras later on.

I'd say its nothing like superbad and is much better.

There's a commentary with the directors and cast, 20 Deleted Scenes, a gag reel, and a few bits (presumably featurettes) with intriguing names - Cube-O-Rama, Brothers In Arms, Peter Pan On The Freeway and The Rob Riggle Show. There's also one final extra, the title of which is something of a SPOILER called X"actor's name"X On Set.
