Old Steelbooks on Zavvi - Blu-ray Forum

Not sure if anyone has noticed this yet but on Zavvi's website under the steelbook section there is a tab that says rarities and when looking it had some old steelbooks saying Sold Out (Some of which were HMV Exclusive) So I'm not sure if Zavvi have managed to get a hold of unsold stock but keep an eye out. I'll include the links below.

The Hunger Games: Limited Edition Steelbook
The Expendables 2: Limited Edition Steelbook
The Cabin in the Woods: Limited Edition Steelbook

Plus Just realized; All are from Lionsgate.

Nice, if these listing are accurate I would get Expendables 2 and Cabin in the Woods.

Interesting! Now can they make a section for "Zavvi Exclusives" so I don't have to skim through all the steelbooks I bought on Amazon.

A lot of Lionsgate and StudioCanal titles have come back into stock aside from these former-HMV exclusives. Wreck at HDN says that it is just left over stock from the studios.

Wasn't there a problem with The Cabin In The Woods disc? If this is old stock will it have the old disc or the replacement one?

Unless they have gone back and opened them to replace the disks the whole batch had the faulty disks. Although they very quickly sent out the new disks as my store returned them to sale with the new corrected disk taped to the front of the still sealed original Steelbook.

I've just preordered evil dead from zavvi. Never knew.it was an exclusive to them. Or have they just bought the.dead stock

They list two
Original film version not listed as exclusive and has been available as Steelbook everywhere as I bought from Amazon
Recent remake was released as Zavvi exclusive Steelbook last year and obviously stock still available

I was thinking about getting Cabin, but it's showing as sold out now. Oh well, not too pressed about it.
