Surprised hardly anyone has talked about this film. I just watched it last night & really enjoyed it. You can tell Dennis Quaid was having fun with his role. He was so over the top & creepy that it made the movie so entertaining to me. A fun underrated horror/thriller film. The script definitely has some issues but I could overlook those issues when the movie is entertaining to watch.

Was this supposed to be a horror movie? Meagan Good is probably one of the worst scream queens since nearly all of her horror movies are trash.

Flubbing up the script is probably the biggest mistake a film could make.

I just loved Dennis Quaid’s performance a lot though. I get the movie breaks no new ground or anything but I was really entertained by it & that’s what matters to me in the end. Also, I like Meagan Good in it too. She’s not a bad actress to me & even though her character is really naive in this film she was still likable. I haven’t seen her in much else though but I didn’t think her performance was bad in this at all.

I saw The Intruder on Blu earlier this Fall. I felt it was a just-OK thriller. I'm glad I saw it once, but don't anticipate ever seeing it again.
