Default Mel Gibson's Get the Gringo

Nice to see Mel back in an old school type action film that were his bread and butter back in the day. Unfortunately this won't be seen in theaters, it's going straight to VOD via DirecTV in May, followed by a Blu ray release.
Trailer
Can't wait!

The second half of the trailer (specifically from when Peter Stormare entered) is what sold me. Looks like it could be really entertaining.

agreed, great actor/Director. it's a shame to see people shun him when you got whack Jobs like Sean Penn, Roman Polanksi , and others still accepted in Hollywood.

I like Mel Gibson both as a director and actor, and this trailer looks pretty cool, I'll blind buy

It's a shame the industry has turned their back on him, yet people like Polanski are still welcome. I have a feeling it wont be until Mel dies when Hollywood will say damn, we should have given him a second chance just like everyone else.

But anyway, I dont want to change the subject from this film, to the whole Gibson rant mess.
I was thinking the same thing about Polanski, and even Victor Salva.

I've heard about Polanski, but not Salva!!

Hollyweird does some things that are so outrageous. If you get raving drunk and make terrible, awful racist comments, well, that's inexcusable. But rape a child and they will welcome you with open arms.

As for me I am actually looking forward to seeing this. At least the trailer makes it look funny, like classic Gibson.

I think it would be less of a big deal if Gibson were behind the camera like them. Most just prefer not to see him in front of the camera anymore. That's where I'd rather see him (or not see him). I'd still watch his movies he acted in if they looked good but it certainly won't be for him. I did watch Edge of Darkness and The Beaver, both of which I liked. That was because they looked good though. But I was never a big fan of his to begin with, and I can't stand him now that I know he's a d*ckhead.
