Default "Disney Animated" - Must-Have for Animation Fans

There is a stunning new app out there called "Disney Animated". It's not cheap, as far as apps go ($13.99)...but what if I told you it contained the entire third chapter of Thomas and Johnston's ILLUSION OF LIFE ("The 12 Principles of Animation") -- and where that industry bible was limited to still frames, the app allows you to see the still frames and then see them in motion. It's a college-level course in hand-drawn animation, presented in a way never before possible outside of a classroom with access to the Disney archives.

And what if I then told you that's just a fraction of what the app contains...like a timeline of all the films replete with film clips and official trailers for each. Art Galleries. Rough animation. Studies on layouts. Multiplane demonstrations. Music. Character. It's the coolest look at Disney history and animation history that I've seen since getting my hands on Disney animation history books in the 80's. Can't recommend it more highly.
