South Korea Listed "coming soon" Blu-ray releases without release dates....

As many of us are eagerly waiting for Blu-ray releases of our favourite South Korean movies, many of us have noticed a few "coming soon" Blu-ray releases on K2DVD.com and Yes24.com, and I was wondering how reliable these listings are when they do not have any release dates, and many of these are not listed elsewhere (for example YesAsia.com) ?

Is there anywhere we can verify if these "coming soon" listings are actual upcoming releases, and not listings listed just for the sake of listing ?

Still waiting on Rose and Lotus

I don't think they are reliable at all. If someone says "I think I heard some guys brother mention they might release it on blu", they will put up a placeholder.

Well The Classic has a release date supposedly the end of September, it's not been updated on k2dvd yet though.

I can't wait to watch The Thieves. It's the second highest box office gross over 12 million ticket sold ever in South Korea history.

That is exactly what I am worried about... If someone could find out where to get reliable source that could provide us with information that we would know for sure.

Yeah... I am so much hoping for a Blu-ray release of "The Classic".... It is strange that there are no listing on YesAsia.com

That movie looks really great Crystal ! And I especially love the fact that Hong Kong actor Simon Yam is in this South Korean movie !

Is it a bit like "Ocean Eleven/Twelve/Thirteen"-ish ?

it looks like Ocean Eleven-ish....but still puzzled why it attracted so many audience. I can't imagine it's due to the story, but maybe for an actor/actress star.

I'm seeing it at TIFF this year! Cannot wait! I'll post my thoughts here after I've watched. Also seeing The Last Supper.

i can imagine retailers in korea manage to get some information from decent sources like forums, just as we often see with regards USA and UK releases - problem (or difference) is i don't think that many over this way scour korean-laguage resources too much...? i don't rely on these speculative dates - i believe it when i see it. they are frustrating though.

Isn't this just because you don't speak (or read for this matter) Korean?
You can search for sources about upcoming US releases yourself so you get an idea if something's speculation or fact. With Asian movies you totally depend on the few shops which are in English.
