Does anyone here happen to have the RSL 10E in their setup? I've been planning on upgrading from my cheap Polk PSW110 for some time now, so I bit the bullet and ordered one yesterday. The reviews I've read and the comparison with what I've been using looks like it's going to be a substantial upgrade, mainly due to the 10E being higher powered with frequencies that the Polk can't go down to. Another advantage is that it's meant for a smaller home theater room, which is something I'd prefer so it doesn't become a space hog.
Does anyone have any thoughts or opinions on it? Also, do you think it'd be worth putting it on an isolation platform or straight onto the floor? I have hardwood flooring and had the Polk on an isolation stand, which I found to be an improvement. It sounded muddy on the floor, but less distracting and defined when on it. |
