Over the last 6 months, I've noticed more and more new release titles are not showing up in Best Buy stores. When I go to their website and look to find the upcoming titles I am looking forward to, it's becoming alarmingly frequent to get status comments like "coming soon" or "not sold in stores" or unavailable". Sure enough, when I go to check out a store, the movies are not there. Best Buy used to be big on the Blu-ray bandwagon and I could always depend on them carrying many titles, especially new releases, but as of late they seem to be slacking off. Anybody else notice this trend with them? Fortunately, Amazon has thoroughly impressed me over the years with their service. Although I prefer to pay cash and pick up titles at brick and morter stores like Best Buy, Fry's, etc., it's becoming more and more appearent that these retailers are less and less inclined to carry a wide variety of new releases.
