It's been probably about 3 days without any new steelbooks up for pre-order or announcements at play and I'm getting restless. Although I have about half-a-million pre-orders with them already I can't wait for my next steelbook fix. Also wondering when the likes of TopGun and GI Joe will be available for pre-order! Come on guys I'm starting to get jittery!

It's the Watchmen SB that's annoying me, it's been up on their site for ages without any release date or artwork.

I'd rather they just announce Amazing Spiderman, Dark Knight Rises and maybe a few more extremely desired catalogue titles

. The price on the catalogue titles has been extremely kind

I hope they make some Star Trek steelbooks. Perhaps a Star Trek XI (2009) steelbook without a blue banner.

Me too. Im curious as to whether it will be the DC or not. DC is a buy. Theatrical is a no buy.

I'm new to Steelbook's so I beg to question, why only European shipping for Play.com?

I mean, I could have them ship it to my mum in Wales but it will quadruple the shipping time.

They claim it has something to do with customs but that's BS. I wrote them explaining how much money they are losing out on by adopting this policy since they end up being sold on ebay for exorbitant amounts.

Someone mentioned here recently they have recently been purchased by another company so maybe the policy will change...

Come on Watchmen!! Been up for ages but instead they announce more. Then they let you pre-order them before announcing some more. Yet Watchmen just sits there! I need it!

Steelbooks seem to be very popular and I can only see more Blu-rays being released this way,both for films already out there and also new releases.

I had forgotten that Play was to release Watchmen.

Thanks for the reminder. But I am now focused on actually having Iron Man Play in my hands. Come on, Play! Send them out!

I feel the complete opposite on the subject.

I already have the 4th in a steelbook and will wait on the individuals to complete my set. I want all 4 lined up nicely together. Besides, the first 3 films deserve to have some extra real estate on my shelf!
