AACS Key Update

I need help!
How do I update my sony VAIO bluray player? It clains that I need to update the aacs key. Do I need to purchase something to get this?

If it's firmware related there should be an update on here. Whats the exact make of your Sony player.

Intervideo WinDVD BD for VAIO?
Corel bought out Intervideo(merged?), so you either have to update from VAIO Support:

Personally, I ditched the OEM WinDVD and got the retail versions of Blu-ray player software(s).

Where do you go to but the retail versions? Through Corel's website?

I had to reformat my Sony Vaio VGN-AR830E and afterwards I couldn't play back my blus.

It kept looking for the AACS key as well.

This InterVideo WinDVD BD® Software Update fixed it.

sorry, I need to add that this link is only the firmware update for my model laptop.

I would suggest to enter the model number of your computer into their directory in order to locate the specific driver updates for your model laptop.

I am no longer able to play blu-ray discs on my Pioneer BD-RW (BDR-TD03) on my Sony Vaio (VPCF13Z1E)... Have tried everything I can come up with please help!

My WinDVD prompted to update the AACS Keys, and I did, however after I did the BR disks just either play an intro then nothing happens or I just get a black screen. As there are no updates available I removed and reinstalled from VAIO Carte but with no help, it also seems impossible to trigger a new update so I gave up and purchased PowerDVD 10 Ultra Mark II.

To my big surprise I get the exact same response in that software.... ?!?!?

I can still brows the discs, export single files from the disk (e.g. to convert to ipad) and also play DVD:s so I suspect there is now hardware problem with my drive.

I am completely stuck any help would be very appreciated. E.g. if this as I suspect has to do with the aacs keys are they shared between WinDVD and PowerDVD ?!? Is there a way to find and remove the keys to force a reinstall/update? Also, could this be anything else than the aacs files that are the problem? If so what could it be. Any help is appreciated!

I can't start a new thread. I can't play blu ray dvd's. Custom system. Tried corel and cybersoft. Neither one can update the aacs key. cybersoft gives no error just doesn't load the movie and when i try to play again it just tries to download the update again and the cycle repeats. Corel atleast figures out something is wrong:

Ticket 648753, R19 The AACS key has not expired. DRM server cannot find the matching key for renewal. Please check your local system time and correct it if it is not correct. Check the system time. If the time setting is correct, Submit Product Information* to request for Technical Support.

Their tech support refuses to help because I have a trial version, but I don't want to buy it if I can't get it to work. I've googled everything and messed around with IE and firewall settings—nothing seems to work!
