What stars from the past have you never heard of?

Do you ever scan through actors filmographies on IMDB and notice that there were certain actors that were hot during a certain era?

For example:

Tom Conti


This guy starred in movies from the late 70s to mid-1980s, with his name headlining on posters. All I know is that he had some role as a prisoner in The Dark Knight Rises. I would have never known that he was once a star.


Can anyone else think of actors like this?
