Looking really sharp mate.

I know how hard you have worked to get to this stage. So I'm real happy for ya. Enjoy.

Thanks mate. She's been a long road, didn't seem like it was going to happen after so incredibly sick for most of this year

The speakers were a great surprise when I hooked them up. They pair beautifully with the Marantz and Emotiva gear

I wasn't really sure what to expect from the audio. But man was I pleasantly surprised. Nice clear, clean and crisp with a little punch.

Got some canvases made up with a couple of posters printed on them. Needed something on the walls to pull the room together. Excuse the rubbish quality, turns out the Note 5 doesn't like low-light settings..

Projector wasn't working for me so I got rid of it and went with a 75" Sony 940D. Over the moon with the purchase, the picture quality was exactly the wow factor I was hoping for from the projector

Wow, never noticed this gallery before, nice to see a Kiwi theater. Very nice layout, especially in the last photo in the OP. The black curtains give it a really genuine theater look.

I agree about the projector, I think a TV is a much better option unless you really want to spend upwards of maybe 10K+ (not really sure on the prices of projectors these days).. but maybe that 75" was probably 10k anyway?

That's a very classy room you've put together

How I wish I had the space for a dedicated theater ..................

But for my next display I hope to up my screen estate to something in the 65 -70 inch range myself , that is when OLED technology is really ready for the masses .................

Thanks mate. I was originally going to look at going with dark grey on the walls and a deep burgundy curtain but after getting samples up it didn't look right so went with the dark blue on black and really happy with it. It even got the wifes tick of approval for the color scheme

I said to some mates before I completed the room I want to be wowed when I turn on the projector for the first time. I went the picture quality to be crisp, clean and just pop. It didn't. It was flat, washed out and noisey as all hell.

Have a got that manages the Sony store here in Christchurch so get a redonk deal on their top of the line 75". That PQ wowed me, beautiful colors, deep dark blacks, excellent shadow detail. Couldn't be happier.

Thanks mate, appreciate it. I couldn't go any smaller than 75" now. Feels like the perfect size for the room and seating distance.

Frickin' gorgeous! I wish you didn't live in NZ, because I'm curious where you go that chair. Yeah, that's the first thing I went to, the chair. Although I want a single sitter I don't want to encourage anyone else to come into the inner sanctum lol. I really need to get my act together and get some pics of my set. Like you, I finally got a room to myself. Although, outside of mounting the tv, putting together the cabinet and components I haven't done much in mine. Yours definitely gives some inspiration though

Haha thanks man. The chairs I actually got for a redonk price. $1200 all up. Plus you can add to it, you can buy the cup holders separately and also had some middle sections to expand the number of seats.

Thanks man. When I sold the projector and got the TV, one of the first things I thought was "Man, Badas is going to be so disappointed in me" lol
