Looks like the DS SteelBooks that we've seen overseas are finally making their way here. Pretty cool.

Agreed. I love that Steelbook, but not enough to drop $100 bucks on it.

The steelbook is free when you buy the game. The $99.99 price tag is to prevent people from just buying the steelbook.

Wasn't sure what to think of a 3DS game getting a steelbook when the cases are usually so small but pretty nice other than the giant UPC on the back

And some art on the inside would have been nice.

Got the last one at the location I went to so had to accept a few scratches on the back but no dents or anything at least.

So it's the regular 3DS case inside of a larger SteelBook?
Can you post a size comparison with a G2 Steel?

It is the exact same size as the non-extended LOTR Blu-Ray Steelbook Future Shop had if you own that or have seen it in person to know the size of that. And yeah I was expecting a 3DS size steelbook or something but glad it wasn't since this gave them more space for the artwork and it looks nice.

I knew they were G2 jumbo, just didn't know the 3DS case went inside. That's too cool!
