Arrow Arcade Classics on the 360 and Remakes.

I have had my Xbox 360 for about three months. I find that I DO NOT do what I have done with every gaming system before it. Replay the classics.

There are some exceptions. I absolutely love a couple of remakes/sequels, such as Hydro Thunder Hurricane, and After Burner Climax.

I have downloaded classics such as Galaga, Ms Pacman and Tempest. Including DOOM and Duke Nukem 3D. Even in their jazzed up state I don't want to play them. Why not? I had my fill of them decades ago. I deleted the trials or soon will. How many Metal Slugs does one man need?

These days, I want realism from my games and won't be wasting much time on games which already gobbled up my quarters, or consumed hours of my time at home. For that, I have an Xbox 360 now.

However, I would be VERY interested in a Zaxxon remake. It would have to include the classic and a jazzed up version. Not just tweaked graphics. It has to take on a whole new look (like After Burner Climax) while living up to the game play of the original.

Robot boss awesomeness, baby!

I play the "classics" all the time. I get tired of the FPS, RPG's, and racing games sometimes and just need to play something old school. Just remember without the classic games we wouldn't have the new games.
