Confirmation came from back cover for Batman and Harley Quinn.

I am just going guess 2018 I doubt they will market and release a new DC Animated film between Aug and Dec. But I'd happily be proven wrong.

I am semi shocked that they are doing two "out of continuity" movies back to back. Based on previous release orders its been one in continuity (of the 2014-2017 new 52 style movies) and then one out.

Hopefully some more news to share at SDCC, mayhaps they are ending that continuity but we will see. I expect at least one or two more titles to be confirmed at SDCC.

I assume a Febuary release is possible. I don't own many of the non connected ANimated titles but this one will be an easy buy for me. I loved the comic and if they go R-rated with it and add in some nifty gore from ole Jack then I will be happy

I hope they continue the continuity movies, I rather enjoy them more than the stand alone movies

I mean funny enough until batman and Harley we haven't had a Batman lead film since Batman: Bad Blood.

(I consider TKJ to be more of a Joker main lead story and Batman along for the ride)

I'm hoping they do the 3 German Expresionist stories as movies someday. WB seems to be doing all those Tom & Jerry mixed with classic movie stories so why not adapt these 3

Awesome! Haven't cared for most of these DC Universe Animated Movies (I find they range from mediocre to downright awful) but I'm definitely looking forward to this one. Gotham By Gaslight is a great little comic.

New Suicide Squad movie seemingly in this new DC continuity plus a 2 part remake/adaption of Superman Doomsday/ death of superman.

Saw this pic on twitter shame they did not go for a unique look for the movie, but I just hope it turns out good. Original comic not that great IMO.

I love the comic's artwork but could see how it would prove problematic trying to recreate it's style for animation, so it makes sense the movie's style looks different. I just hope any expansion to the story doesn't ruin it.

Ha I really hope there is expansion because from what I read (I only read the first story mind you) that story was very dull and practically cliche in parts. I want them to drum up the mystery and make it engaging but hopefully they don't go "TKJ prequel" too far, you are right about that.

They did say they would be expanding the story because the comic (there's only one) was too short to support a feature on its own. The comic has a tight and well-written story, so I just hope whatever expanding they do serves the story well and doesn't just create padding.

There is one comic with two stories in them, the other is called "Master of the Future" there is a details if you care to google about that story. I have not read it myself.

New screen of Batman this time. Likely more details and the full BTS feature will leak sometime this week. Dunno if BTS feature will be same for both Batman and Harley and JL New Frontier but I expect them to be so.
