It is great to see that Claude Sautet's film are slowly coming to Blu-ray. Hopefully, Criterion will manage to bring the recent restorations to the U.S. soon -- The Things of Life, Vincent, François, Paul and the Others, Mado, and especially Max and the Junkmen.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who was bothered by the color timing. It's a bit disappointing because otherwise, the restoration is very nice, but it also reminds why Pathé's new restoration are best for B&W movies rather than their colors ones.
I mean, Le désordre et la nuit is absolutely gorgeous, just like the 2 Monocle movies... and that's only restored in 2K !

I attended screenings of La belle équipe and La fin du jour, both restored in 4K for Pathé by L'immagine ritrovata and both are wonderful (even if it seems the elements for La belle équipe weren't perfect and the result is a tad thick).

I wasn't bothered by it, Tenia. I think that the colors are a bit too warm, but overall the film looks quite wonderful
