Australia American Horror Story Season 1 - Limited Edition (JB Exclusive 24/10/2012)

Anyone else a fan of this show? I watched it religiously as new episodes came out but I'm unsure as to how well it fared commercially in Aus.

Noticed this special edition on JB's site which seems quite nicely priced for a limited release of a TV series on BD, but I can't seem to find any overseas alternatives? Amazon stores only have the general edition with no extra goodies. Just seems odd that Australia would have the premium release is all.

Anybody picking this one up apart from myself?

Yeah thought the show was great up until the final episode.

Have no interest in these T-Shirt packs though.

Loved the show but mildly diminishing returns. The first episode was a definite highlight in my TV viewing history; blew my mind in a very Lynchian way, and my wife was scared as hell. Love the opening too. My wife hates it.

I love how the show scared my wife .

May consider a purchase but that shirt is pretty lame. Would prefer an awesome B&W graphic of the Rubber Man or something.

A very Lynchian way indeed!

Although I also would have preferred a design like that, I think this t-shirt design is meant to appeal to fans of the Tate character - aka the many young female viewers. But hey, it's working for me. I like the packaging as well.

Just checked the site again and just as I was saying it was nicely priced at $49 they have upped the price to $65. Wish I had pre-ordered last night :\

Do JB normally add the extra onto pre-orders if they're already placed and go up?

No they tend to have a price protection policy on pre-orders

I'm hoping so. Original list price was less than $50 but I checked the next day and they'd boosted it to $70 sad thing is I like the show and the set so much I'd probably be willing to fork that much out. Am still waiting to see if any special editions are announced overseas though.

OK sportsfans, I took one for the team and opened this badboy up. Good news for the purists out there, our version is uncut! Yes that's right UNCUT!

Confirmation came in the pilot with these words at 21:21:

"You're doing it wrong. If you're trying to kill yourself cut vertically, they can't stitch it up."

Full runtime of the Pilot is: 51:39.

if anyone here can play Region A, I have a sealed spare US version for sale for $35 plus shipping (in Melbourne so can offer CBD pickup, otherwise a couple of bucks shipping depending on where you are). PM me if you are interested.

I understand that the T-Shirt and Art Cards are exclusive to JB Hifi, but what about the Paleyfest 2012 bonus disc? Does any other retailer have that disc?
