Alien vs Predator & Requiem 2-pack ? - Blu-ray Forum

Hi just curious if any one knows if the 2 pack set being offered ,on the 1st AVP disc , is it the same that is out right now or is there anything else added to it? as special features or upgraded audio etc. or just the same disc. just added to the new movie in a 2 pack edition. please LMK , See i already own the 1st AVP , so do i just buy the new AVP Rquiem or do I need to replace it with the new 2pack set ? thanks for any help.

Yes both are unrated but the 1st AVP you see right now is not unrated.

Read where is says "Special Features". The current BD has the unrated extended cut.

I bought the box set on Amazon when it was $27, so I already traded off the older AVP

The box set has 3 Blu's. That should be alot of extra's! Requiem in box set say's Extreme Unrated! Does this mean Requiem single is not Extreme? LOL

same concept as when the Resident Evil Trilogy came out, they just boxed up the existing Resident Evil 2: Apocalypse in the trilogy pack, nothing different at all.

They are the exact same. both contain the unrated as well as the theatrical rated release.

The new AVP still doesnt have a release date with updated features.

Well, that's disappointing news. I thought AVP1 was going to be a two-disc set with Digital Copy, just like AVP:R.

No, but in the future it may, they said itd come with new features.. dont remember reading about a digital copy tho.

no its 4 disks which means 1 digital copy each disk (thats the only difference from the first), then the two movies which will be the same as the singles

I have avp on dvd. Alot of people said it sucked but i actually liked this film. My wife never has watched the predator or alien movies before and she liked this film also...I dont think she likes the older ones. But then again avpr came out and again bad stuff said...even worse than avp....So just your opinion..If i liked avp will i like avpr?

Yes. The somewhat main female is hot in it, and theres a great pool scene as well.

Oh violence wise? great, bloody, gorey.
