Default Black Snake Moan... under-rated?

Finally sat and watched this movie last night and I though it was great. One of those movies that came in under the radar. I thought the plot could have unfolded a little differently but SAM JACKSON was great as always and CHRISTINA RICCI, well, lets just say she was convincing in her role.

I thought this was a great movie. Sam Jackson was fantastic as Laz. Even Justin Timberlake acted pretty well.

I loved this movie, and knew it would be great after seeing Hustle & Flow...
I have read that a 3rd movie about Rock n Roll is in the works...

He was terrible in comparison to Jackson and Ricci. He really stuck out like a sore thumb to me.

Perhaps "pretty well" was a bit strong. He didn't bother me as much as I anticipated. Not enough to take away from my enjoyment of the film.

I saw this one at the theater, and picked up the BD as soon as it came out -- before it got yanked when Paramount went red. Great PQ, great movie. It was actually one of my favorites of 2006.

Just bought the blu ray today. Haven't seen this movie in like 6 years I liked it. I'm excited to watch it later this week .
