Default Anyone else excited for the possibility of teal Kubrick and Malick remasters.

Boy oh boy would a teal version of Days of Heaven look fabulous! Especially if the marketing department says it is director approved! That means it was always meant to look that way!

I can't frickin' wait!

Kubrick estate approved teal remasters would make me have wet dreams!

Since that won't be happening, this thread is already pointless.

Well, everyone seems to love the altered teal look they apply to other films. Why won't they do it for Malick and Kubrick. It looks AWESOMER with TEAL!

TEAL! TEAL! TEAL! YAY TEAL!

What is tired, is supposedly genius directors FOLLOWING a stupid fad.

Because altering films to look like video games is pathetic. If they can be pathetic fad followers, I can make threads complaining about it. Freedom of speech and all that.

for all the incessant whining about it, exactly how many blu-rays are "teal"?
there's a pathetic fad here, but it ain't the colors on the blu-rays.

If it will somehow get the keyboard geeks to stop pushing teal, then getting the marketing department to say "Director approved to look just like it originally did!" like a bunch of lying douches, I'll take the banning.

If you're upset about The Matrix, the Wachowskis really did approve the green shift.

I guess that happened to the LOTR movies, but again, the director probably really approved the Blu-ray masters.

I think the only one that upset people was The Ring, but Paramount messes up everything.
