Default Movies You Always Fall Asleep Watching?

Off the top of my head:

Last Man Standing (Bruce Willis)
Miami Vice (Colin Farrell)
Sideways (Paul Giamatti) (only attempted 1x though)

Lord of the Rings. Incredibly boring. I've tried numerous times to watch these films all the way through and I just can't. Having said that I'm still looking forward to The Hobbit because I love the book

I really like commentaries. That way I can close my eyes and listen. I tend to go with the Universal Monster movies.

2001: A Space Odyssey Sleep is guaranteed within 1 - 60 minutes.

Also, I only had one viewing of There Will Be Blood, but I fell asleep by the last third of it.

It was adult years and literally half a dozen tries before I saw any complete linear amount of the movie past the briefing on the moon station.
And that was watching it on video. With breaks.

And four tries at Dr. Strangelove, too.

I almost always fall asleep to 3 movies. Not that these films are bad actually quite the opposite. First the movie 2001. It is so soothing with the classical music and smooth looking visuals and slow building pace that i go to lala land. The other two are my "comfort food" flicks. DAWN OF THE DEAD and THE EVIL DEAD. When i was younger, i used to always pop these in when going to bed.

That's one of my favorite films. I guess it matters how you see it.

I love post-apocalypse so

Rescue Dawn

The jungle looked amazing in HD but just the thought of trying to watch it again is already making me sleepy.

For me, it's Dune. I've tried to watch it 3 times over the years and each time I fall right to sleep. Maybe someday....

Strangely enough, the only movie that makes me fall asleep is The Matrix. Something about the pacing of the film just makes me nod off. I love the film, but I have to make it two viewings usually. The really weird thing is that I never fall asleep to movies. Never.

Never intentionally put in a movie to fall asleep to. But if I wanted to do that Blade Runner would put me out like a light. I've tried to like it but I find it mind numbingly BORING . . .
