Why would they stop releasing DVDs? They would then be isolating the vast majority of consumers who are either old and have only just got the hang of DVD from VHS or people who just don't want to upgrade to a format that might be defunct again in a few years time - I don't think that physical copies will ever cease to exist, but a lot of people are sure that downloads and streaming will, in a few years, be the number one way for most people to buy and watch films. I like DVD, and I like owning sets and individual releases that I don't believe need to be seen on Blu-ray; Red Dwarf, for example. There's nothing highly visual about RD that needs to be seen in pristine condition, or with brilliant sound - a DVD would be enough for it.

Anyway, that wasn't meant to be a rant, just my opinion, so I apologise if it seemed like the former. I probably won't buy this with so many other releases that I want more, but thanks for the heads up!

You do know one episode has already aired and was far better than Back to Earth? It's a proper return for Red Dwarf.
