i would not say dec 15th is that fast but where did the site get that date from and where is the regular 3D release for this. i want this in 3D

But there's nothing on either a DVD, 2D BD or 3D BD release on their press site or the BVA website or Lionsgate UK's website, so I'd wait before freaking out.

Isnt that been cancelled ? But if this zavvi is also 3D then there will be a regular edition as well released anything else would just be weird

No, the 3D steelbook can be ordered from Zavvi's website as I post for £24, which is fairly expensive, but it comes with a free canvas print, which may (or may not) soften the blow...

The free canvas print is only for the first 200 orders.

It can be purchased separately for a tenner - which is presumably why they're having to give it away. Who'd pay a tenner for that?!??!

Worth checking the small print of this deal. They have structured it so that you pay part of the cost of the print as that is shipped now to get a discount off the Steelbook. Therefore you can't change your mind on the Steelbook and its a firm order.

Given the print didn't really appeal I just ordered the Steelbook, but it gives me flexibility if I want to cancel later.

Not for myself no, from a purely self-centred perspective, I no longer have a 3D TV.

But obviously I'd like there to be a 3D release for other people, and if they aren't comfortable with importing a 3D release from elsewhere they can buy the steelbook, which is currently live for pre-orders on Zavvi's website.

And there still isn't anything registered with the BVA, so you can stop being so highly strung for a while. When the BVA database shows a 2D release, but no 3D, then is an appropriate time to panic...

They've already submitted both the 2D and 3D versions to the BBFC and got an 18 for both.

I can't see them pulling Momentum's old trick of submitting both but only using the censored, but they might...

I can't of any reason why a lower certificate would affect sales on home video. If little Johnny isn't old enough he'll ask his Mum to pick up a copy when she gets the weekly shop. We're coming up to the time of year where the shops are full of relatives buying 18 certificate games and movies for the average 12 year old!

Has the movie had a "Making Of" book released like the first one? I can't find one on Amazon.
