Feels like a Mix of Mirrors Edge and Assassin's Creed. Except you know... It could actually be good.

Especially if it is the best parts of those games with a good story.

I prefer Jade a little rounder looking

but it's a shame, I don't think adaptive, layered animation in games is up to what we're seeing there yet. Assassin's Creed, Uncharted even Killzone 2 and others have moved things on nicely but that fluidity between many different context sensitive actions looks a few years off.

that clip def. looks like bge2; and if so, im stoked... that looked awesome... looks like they are going for almost an uncharted (graphics) look which im glad...so many games of 'cult-hits' get sequels that turn out to be redone in some stupid anime look...

Looks cool. Especially liked how she pushed off walls and reacted to running into things when running away.

I believe we lost a lot of posts in this thread during the great BD.com blackout of '12.

And today Ubisoft have said that the game is indeed still coming.

Beyond Good & Evil 2 'still coming', assures Ubisoft CEO

"The next time we communicate we have to have something new"

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said when asked for an update on the sequel: "I don't give comments anymore on BG&E2 because I think ... the next time we communicate we have to have something new."

Not specific to the PS4 or any other platform, he told Kotaku simply: "It's coming."

Hardly anything has been seen of BG&E2 since its 2008 reveal trailer at a French Ubisoft event.

Series creator Michel Ancel has recently suggested that Beyond Good & Evil 2 is in "active" development for next-generation consoles, stating that "some technical issues" have meant that the game requires "more tech" in order to finish development.

However, the title's construction has more recently been held up by Ubisoft Montpellier's work on Rayman Legends, Ubisoft has suggested, which itself has been delayed until September 2013.
