United Kingdom E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial Steelbook

E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial Steelbook

Released November 12th 2012.

With this and the Jaws one Universal are really treating us Spielberg fans with their steelbooks. Both really well done (although some don't like the colour of this one - I think it's great). Let's hope the transfers are treated just as well (though I have no worries at all for Jaws having seen how much money and effort they've put into it EDIT - and having seen the transfer on the big screen which looked fantastic)

Do you have an estimated price for shipping? It sounds like you have done this before. I mean is it like $20 in addition to the price of the bluray?

Also should i pre-order it now or wait until its available?

Aren't you guys getting your own version?

If not, there are always members on here willing to help out and ship em to you for the cost it takes them to buy and ship it + whatever packaging and fuel costs.

International shipping is £3-3.60 and drops if you combine orders,

In addition to the cheap shipping, Amazon UK take off VAT from the item price (about one-sixth of the price) though you'll only see that when you're finishing your order, in the total amount section. So the VAT removal on an item this price balances the international shipping cost nicely!

Of course the US won't get a steelbook, we almost never do!
Thankfully Amazon UK, ships over here at a very cheap price. So they will always get my steelbook business!

Until Monday night you can pre-order it from HMV with their 20% off code (H8BLU20) making it £17.60.

I thought it was rumored Best Buy might get an exclusive steelbook of this? But maybe I'm wrong.

Hmv should in theory get it to you before release date.

I think i'll stick with HMV then. Although they have failed me a little with the Batman combo steelbook lol. Not that i'm bothered since i seen em already. My main concern is them arriving safely and if anything happens, being able to resolve it quickly.
