Most Wished For on Blu - A Summary

So I spent a couple hours gathering recent posted wish lists from this sub-forum and eventually had 1,200 rows by the time I got tired. I excluded all existing releases and movies that have already been announced on the format. I excluded a lot of stuff from consideration like edition concerns, foreign films and TV seasons. I also refrained from personal bias. My #1 film want is George C. Scott's "The Changeling". It uh... didn't make the list. Only three of my wish list films are here at all (1,2,10).

I'd like to put these in a poll and get some votes to test the validity of the info and to get a real sense of what are the big releases yet to come. But before I do that, I thought I'd get your opinion as to whether or not anything is missing. If there is a consensus response, I'll add the film.

So in descending order of popularity, here's the list. Be prepared for some shockers.

So this list sure surprised me. Not much Disney love. Pink Panther? Nope. The Big Chill? Zippo. Roman Holiday & Sabrina? Yawn. There were a lot of "David Lynch films" comments, but since those weren't spelled out, they didn't get consideration.

So what needs to be added to the poll? Let it rip.

Nice effort. But actually, I don't see the point in keeping Aladdin in the poll. It's out almost everywhere (and region free), it *will* come to the US soon enough.

Ok. Maybe replace it with 101 Dalmations? I was surprised at the low number of references for this one. I imagine it will be a big seller for Disney.
