Stop Everything Movies

A fun thread - asking you to name up to 10 movies, that if they pop up on the television, you will stop everything that you're doing and watch them.

These are the movies you will never tire of, regardless of how many times you have already enjoyed them...

Here are my 10, in no particular order:

PS - my ex-wife hated these movies because they wreaked havoc with the Honeydew list

I only stop for movies I haven't seen on TV. I can only think of one movie which is Children of Men.

I'd have to think about this a little more..

Sometimes I will stop and wait for certain scenes of my favorite movies and watch them, even if I own it. But usually don't stop for a whole movie, well not since I have a dvr anyways.

I can't quite form a good list at the moment, but there are many that I would just stop and watch because I love them.

Most notably would probably be Apollo 13 - such an amazing film, I just can't watch small sections of it without sitting through the whole thing. Love it.

I usually only watch films that I've never seen when they're on tv, or occasionally something that I don't own.

That said, Cast Away used to have this weird hold on me where I had to watch it whenever it was on, no matter if I had already missed half of it or not.

hmmm, not much will make me stop what i am doing, but if i am flicking thru the channels doing nothing and see a certain movie, forget about it, the channel stops and i have to watch the rest of it.

Under Seige ( not a clue why, but this film is puts a trance on me, lol and i can't look away, lol, my wife torments the hell out of me for it )

As long as I haven't seen them within a few months. Alot of comedies, a good laugh is always useful.

Had to add the Burbs to my list after reading your list. Only problem for me is. It is rarely ever on

The rare times that I actually watch television and channel surf, if I see a movie I like on TV, I just say I have the blu-ray and change the channel.

I couldn't get my senior English research paper done because Muppets from Space came on. In the end, I got one single note card written that night. At least it wasn't due the next day, but I totally blew one of the last nights I had to work on it haha.
